As a result, nursing positions are always readily available in a state whose population of over 11 million live, work, and play. Just a few things that the state of Ohio is typically known for include multiple professional sports teams, a rich history, as well as a generous educational system, and plenty of nursing schools in Ohio.

Nursing Education in Ohio

Equipped with an educational system that includes 13 state universities, Ohio has a lot to offer in the way of providing a wide array of various degree programs and different career paths for students wishing to continue their education at a secondary educational institution. Xavier University Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program

An accredited nursing school and listed by the Ohio Board of Nursing is the Xavier University Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. This course of study is a focus on pre-licensure nursing, teaches undergraduates of the program the importance of collaborating and working as part of a greater team of nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals. University of Akron School of Nursing

One of the more competitive nursing schools is part of the University of Akron and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, the University of Akron School of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare you to work as a practical nurse whether you have prior knowledge of the field or not.
